If you get the opportunity to make a PowerPoint presentation at a seminar, to a prospective client or even at trial, you should keep in mind a few basic marketing tips. At the ABA TECHSHOW later this month a couple of Canadian lawyers plan to share their experiences in making over 100 presentations according to Law Practice Today . A few advanced pointers of what you should not do include:
-have too many slides
-use too many words ( I recommend never exceeding 40 per slide, less is better)
-read your slides verbatim
-repeat the same boring bullets on every slide.

Stay tuned for more after the ABA TECHSHOW.
